The Plumeria Design...The plumeria, called 'pua melia' in Hawaii, is prized for its abundance, fragrance, color and form. Originally from South America the plumeria was introduced to Hawaii in the 1800s and was propagated so easily that now almost every island home has a tree to instantly provide beautiful leis for any occasion.
